Getting old..... I guess!

Wholly Cow what a day!

So as you can see... I was rather disturbed at my mail yesterday! I know that with all the couponing I have been doing I have saved a ton at the stores and have been able to stock up on some much needed items. BUT WHOLLY COW.. HOW ON EARTH CAN I EVER PAY THIS??? It seems that last year at this billing time we used 7 units of water....this year we used 418 units? UM that is 411 MORE units, one would think that might draw a RED flag to someone at the water department? GUESS NOT! SO I called them to say WHAT THE HECK... and I got well you know a leak can run up your bill..... ONE WOULD WONDER IF A LEAK THAT SIZE..... I might notice something? I have NO WATER damage in the house.. and NO SOGGY SINK HOLES IN THE YARD!!!! SO either someone is smoking something or we will be with out water and power for who know how long... My budget for the power bill is about $150.00........ so looks like maybe for Christmas we will have power and water again??? BUT who knows. My fingers are crossed that the water department will figure out what is up and fix the bill. After all I have never had a bill even close to this in the um... 15+ years.
