Kelly's Gingerbread House

Kelly wanted to decorate the gingerbread house that was in the cupboard left from last year. So after a trip to the store and the candy row he finally got started. BUT with a small cost to the everyday stuff.... I burned up my mix master making him some frosting..... SO off to the store I went on Christmas Eve.... to stand in line for 15 minutes just to get a new mix master... and then it was home to make him some more frosting! But is was worth it! He had a good time and I enjoyed watching and giving pointers.

This is just a few of the candies Kelly wanted to decorate with!

This is the finished look.... He had hoped to decorate the back yard but simply ran out of time. With Kelly working 2 jobs the evening hours home are short. But it is another job well done!!! Thanks Love ya!

Scottie

This is my little brothers son! And when I say that I also mean he acts just like his DAD~~~
I was trying to take a picture of Scottie in his George Straight Wrangles and George Straight cowboy shirt. He looked SOOO cute dressed like Grandpa Duck......... But as you can see... Scottie was being Scottie and kept running from me and the camera.... but now I have this cute wrangler butt picture of him!

He is such a HAM!!!! But ya gotta love him!

Christmas Eve

This is my Wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Irons! It is because of them and ALL their

hard work and excellent examples that we are still having our wonderful Christmas Eve dinner and present game. This year we went to the church. (not the same and not as cozy as there house but was still very nice) We are very blessed to have such great grandparents. THANKS Grandma and Grandpa for such a wonderful family to be a part of. I love you!!!

Mom, Sh'Kell, Eric and Mary eating Christmas Eve dinner. And I believe that is Michael that is facing me... Sorry not sure the other one that looks just like him is that one with his back to me in the gray sweatshirt.

This is most of the family getting ready to play the Christmas Eve present game! As you can see the kids are having a hard time waiting for all us adults to shut up and begin the game!

Kamari and Pesh waiting for there turn to pick a present!

While we were all finishing up the present game.... Kelly who was sitting on the stage (Not feeling well) managed to get some company. This is my little sisters twins. They are so cute! I believe he opened candy for them... that their parents wouldn't. (but we don't care we did not have to take them home with us)

Sh'Kell Cheer Performance

Sh'Kell had a Cheer performance at the college basketball half time. She was really excited but her half hearted smile does not look that way!!

She has bruises all over her arms from all the hard work she does helping to base!

Sh'Kell is second from the back. They did a great job!! She really likes Cheer and it is nice that I don't have to fight with her every week to go!!

This is why I was not thrilled to have Kam drive to work! She reminded me she was old enough and could handle it..... and thank goodness she did.

Phoenix Sprint Cup Race

Lets go racing!!!! Cars are lined up on pit road and ready to go!!!

Late race crash... some how I don't think you can win the race with another car on top of yours. This was a LONG red flag to clean up the big mess.

Head sets and visors are not hairdo friendly!

Kelly enjoying the race.... however the stranger (Jr's fan) in having a better time for the moment.

Mom and Dad's seat where right behind us!

Where's Holly???? Somewhere clear over there in the shade!!!

Jimmy's Hauler. parked right across from our seats.

Jimmy on pit row.... driving backwards towards victory lane!

JIMMY WON!!!!!!!! Watch the burn out.

Phoenix Nationwide Race

Our seats for Saturdays race. This is looking into turn one. What a fun HOT day! Can't wait until next year!!

Karl just did his famous flip out of the car window. Just like he always does after a win.

Atlanta

What a beautiful person! I thought this time last year was hard. I was about to loose my oldest daughter to a wonderful boy. Although excited for her, to have found someone as wonderful as Zach. I was having a hard time letting go! Well here it is a year later..... and just when I had come to grips with the fact that my daughter was married, she now has moved half way across the United States. I know for her is it," Not that big of a deal mom!" But until she has little ones of her own, she won't have an idea just how much someone that drives her nuts can love her so much. I know she will be fine no matter where she is. But I am not sure I will!! She is my first baby girl and it is hard to think that time has gone by SOOOO fast!

Hard to be a Mother!

At times I wish my girls where these ages again. I know that I sure would have spent some more time with them. I seems that as they grow they really don't need you any more. I have been blessed to have three wonderful beautiful daughters. Each one has her own greatness, and while they are all at tough ages with life changing events going on. I know that they are capable of making the right choices. As a mother it is hard at times to stand by and let them make some on there own... knowing that there will be heart break ahead. (as mom you never what to see you child have a tuff time) I hope that each one of my girl know how special they are, and what they mean to me! They are my world!!!! Tasha, Kam and Bug I love you more than you could ever image!

School Project

So everyone take a good look (not really). Sh'Kell was doing one of those famous books for school, and needed a picture of the two of us. And you guessed it.... there was not one. So I had to give in and let her take this picture! Only because I will now be famous..... being in her book and all!

THANKS Bug!

General Deer Hunt

This is my cute husband climbing the tree so that he can get my deer hung. Good thing someone never told him he is getting to old to climb trees! I guess that will come when he fall out and does not heal as fast! HA HA... what a cute wrangler butt! (Love ya hon)

This is my deer that I got this year..... not bad for a girl. In feeling bad about having the biggest deer this year, I will not rub it in (Zach) buy posting pictures of the others! Better luck next year GUYS!!!

This is my baby brother and his son camping. I think Eric is sleeping... and Scotty is pretending to sleep.. but after watching him for a few minutes he really was faking his dad out and playing with his trucks!

Muzzle Loader Deer Hunt

This is Sh'Kell with the cutest 2 year old boy!! Scotty. As you can tell from this look on his face he is into trouble all the time... hahaha. We got to spend some time with him during the muzzle loader hunt.

Married for 21 Years!!!

So yesterday was our 21st Wedding anniversary, who would have ever thought I would ever be this old. Where has all the time gone. The past 21 years have been great and each one has its own story. We have the good old Moore's years. Sh'Kell has no idea her dad worked at that place. Now we have the abide by the law years. And then there are the 10 plus years of taking the girls to dance, soccer and any other thing they wanted to do.(ask them and you will get a totally different story) I remember the day we got married and would have never imagined things to have worked out so well...Now don't get me wrong we have had our challenges but for the most part over come them, or just figured out how to pretend they where not there! I have no idea what I have done to deserve such a wonderful husband and best friend. He has been the best.. and I look forward to the next 20 years together. (sorry honey) Kelly I love you more!!!!

Saturday Evening Ride on Bumble Bee

Kelly has been hunting on Bumble Bee mountain, and I have never been there. So we went for a ride Saturday night. Tasha and Zach came with us! So did both Kelly's parents and mine. What a pretty place. BUT there was a ton.... of powder on the roads. SO all of us where pretty dirty. SO dirty that Zach would not stay for dinner. He needed to shower and get the dirt out of his ears. It was nice to get away for a few hours. We even got to see a few deer. OF course not the big ones Kelly has been talking about. AND I totally enjoyed our time with Tasha and Zach.

NASCAR FONTANA SPRINT RACE!!!!!!

Kelly is watching the pre-race... THANKS for taking me to the race. AND for being patient when I got us lost!!! I love you and had a great time... hope you did also.
SORRY... no smile.. I hate pictures.. but I am really trying to get better.. HA HA.. BUT I had a blast and can't wait till we can find another race we can attend!!!! (I am looking if anyone wants the details) We are going to the NASCAR Truck race in Vegas next month.

This is the view from our seats... We could see the entire track. THANKS Zach for the tickets... if you would have never offered, this great weekend would not have happened!!!

The fly over with military jets.. I can't remember where they where stationed... Sorry. That blue sky is deceiving... with all the smog.

Jimmy headed to his car.. after the pre- race introductions.

Pre-race.. this is JR headed down the pits to his car for the start of the race.

The race is just about to begin... notice Jeff is right behind Jimmy. He stayed up front close to Jimmy... then the usual Jeff went backwards. Jeff needs some help figuring out how to race forward. AND NOTICE Kyle Bush is no where close in any of today's race... HA HA HA...

Jimmy all by himself racing..... He had a great day from the start to the finish.

Caution lap.... Car 43 has hit the wall in the back stretch.

The Furniture Row car hit the wall and made a huge mess of itself. Sad this was about the only crash of the night, other then for a few brushing the walls and some tire rubs that resulted in flat tires and rubbed off side panels. Made for a short night for Joe Nemechek. Better luck next time Joe.

This is a caution flag pit stop.

Green flag Pit stops for the rest of the field.

BURN OUT!!! Great job.. Fontana has never been won from the pole.. NEVER THAT IS UNTIL NOW!!

There goes Jimmy with the checker flag doing a victory lap.. This was a great end to a great weekend!!!! GREAT JOB JIMMY!!!!!!

Fireworks after the race. Nice finish to the night.
