NASCAR FONTANA SPRINT RACE!!!!!!

Kelly is watching the pre-race... THANKS for taking me to the race. AND for being patient when I got us lost!!! I love you and had a great time... hope you did also.

SORRY... no smile.. I hate pictures.. but I am really trying to get better.. HA HA.. BUT I had a blast and can't wait till we can find another race we can attend!!!! (I am looking if anyone wants the details) We are going to the NASCAR Truck race in Vegas next month.

Pre-race.. this is JR headed down the pits to his car for the start of the race.

The race is just about to begin... notice Jeff is right behind Jimmy. He stayed up front close to Jimmy... then the usual Jeff went backwards. Jeff needs some help figuring out how to race forward. AND NOTICE Kyle Bush is no where close in any of today's race... HA HA HA...

Caution lap.... Car 43 has hit the wall in the back stretch.

The Furniture Row car hit the wall and made a huge mess of itself. Sad this was about the only crash of the night, other then for a few brushing the walls and some tire rubs that resulted in flat tires and rubbed off side panels. Made for a short night for Joe Nemechek. Better luck next time Joe.

Fontana's Nationwide Race

After a long drive... we are finally at the race. Well the ride would have not been so long... If I would have not got us a little lost looking for the hotel. But all is good we just had a small tour of San Bernardo. We are checked in to the hotel and in our seats just in time to see the drivers introduced.

We finally found the track and our seat. Not to bad for buying them the day before. As you can see the sits are not even full... no wonder I was able to get seats so close to the start of the race.

The cars are lined up and ready to go racing..... just waiting for the pace car to go!!! HURRY we are ready.

This is Jimmy Johnson driving in the Nationwide Race Saturday night. Jimmy started off pretty good... but something must of went wrong! He ended up finishing the race in 17th place. It is very unfortunate that Kyle Bush won another one.

Fontana sunset! With all the smog in California it makes for a pretty one. The race was much cooler when it finally went behind the hill!!

Me and a few girls from work went to the Corn Fest. The craft booths where not really what we hoped for. But we enjoyed the company and as you can see funnel cake... I was chicken to give it a try.... maybe next time. Melanee is no longer working at Millcreek with us.. we sure do miss her!!!!! And wish her the best.

Kathleen is enjoying her funnel cake. This is probably the first time I have not seen a smile on her face. Katheen is such a great person to work with. I enjoy her company and friendship!!

Kelly went on a trip to Indian Peak with his dad and brother. After two nights listening to the wind blow. He was ready to come home, but at least it did not rain. He saw a lot of animals. And even got a change to shoot at a coyote.. notice I said shoot... he missed. OH WELL better luck next time.

This is a buck... glad this is not all there is out there.

It's hard to tell but there is a nice Bull Elk in here. We need a really nice camera for this kind of stuff, oh ya we have kids..... teenagers that is. Maybe later!!

When we are not at the track.. Grandma Duck provided the entertainment. She never got to ride a bike as a child, so rather then pay for therapy we all decided to let her try! What will she do to top this next year?

Zach's first family trip... what did he do to the turkey leg. I hope he enjoyed it and will still come with this crazy family next time. Zach welcome to the red neck part of the family!
